Overview
One of the most attractive aspects of joining the Vertin Company is that, although most times our employees will be working with almost complete autonomy, they are never totally alone. Our funeral directors have the opportunity to network and to call upon many of the fine funeral directors who are a part of our extended family of employees. Some of whom have been with Vertin Company for over thirty years. Our funeral directors and support staff also share in continuing education and social activities with many of their co-workers during their years with Vertin Company.

Licensed Funeral Director
A Vertin Family Funeral Director is expected to perform in a manner that embraces our Mission at all times. A Funeral Director must also establish and maintain strong relationships with families and community members at all times. His/her primary responsibility is to help families make choices regarding the memorialization of their loved one. The goals of the funeral director are to guide every family through a journey of grief, leading them to and beyond a healthy grieving process, and to exceed their expectations of quality funeral and memorial services.
Pre-Arrangement Specialist
A Vertin Family Pre-Arrangement Specialist is expected to perform his/her duties in a manner that embraces our Mission at all times. He/she serves families by providing exemplary personalized service to those wanting to plan their funerals in advance. The Pre-Arrangement Specialist establishes strong business relationships with families and community members. Personal generation of leads is integral to his/her success. Ideal candidates demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and discipline. Compensation is comission-based.

However, we always have a support system in place for our funeral directors to use as a resource in unique situations.
